Commission for a client. The goal was to reconstruct the equestrian monument of Herzog Christian von Sachsen-Brück in Freyburg who is riding down the personified "envy" (snakes as hair). The original sculptor was Johann Christoph Schütze. The statue was destroyed in 1948.
I tried to be as faithful as possible to the original source material and avoided any personal style changes.
The whole reconstruction process was accompanied by local historians.
